SPC Holden Corzine

SPC Holden Scott Corzine was born on December 13th, 1986. He grew up in Chillicothe Ohio, attending Chillicothe city schools and graduating from Chillicothe High School in 2005. During his teen years, he was introduced to competitive shooting through 4-H and shot with a 4-H team based in Columbus OH. He attended The Ohio State University for 3 years, and eventually enlisted in the U. S. Army. Immediately upon graduating from basic training, he married his wife Lisa. Holden proudly served his country as an infantryman in the 10th Mountain Division, including a deployment to Afghanistan. His service ended in January 2016 and he lived with us in Chillicothe afterwards. Holden had a warm, kind, giving heart and he would do anything for a friend. His laugh and smile were infectious. He loved his wife, animals, the Army, Hunter S. Thompson, the Columbus Blue Jackets and firearms. We lost Holden to suicide on April 6th, 2016. His struggles with alcoholism, depression and PTSD became too much to overcome. He is deeply missed and we hope his legacy is to convince those facing the same issues to seek the help available so that their families are not forced to endure such a loss.
