1SG Drew Castergine

1SG Drew Castergine was born on March 19th, 1986 in Columbus, Ohio. He entered Cavalry Scout OSUT at Ft. Knox, KY in September 2003. His assignments and positions include Bradley Driver at Camp Garry Owen. Korea in the 4th Squadron 7th Cavalry Regiment. Team Leader and Squad Leader at Hohenfei, Germany with the 1st Battalion 4th Infantry Regiment. Section Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operations Sergeant Major, and First Sergeant at Fort Campbell Kentucky with the 1st Squadron 33rd Cavalry Regiment and the 1st Battalion 187th Infantry Regiment. 1SG Castergine has five deployments and 32 months in combat. They include deployments in 2008-2009 to FOB Lagman in Afghanistan; 2009 to FOB Lane in Afghanistan; 2012-2013 to FOB Gardez in Afghanistan; 2015 to FOB Fenty in Afghanistan; 2016-2017 to Camp Nothing Hill in Kosovo.

1SG Drew Castergine is survived by his loving wife, Toni Castergine, his son, Ethan Castergine, and his parents, Mr. Stuart Castergine and Mrs. Katrina Castergine.
