SPC Christopher Fishbeck

Christopher Fishbeck was killed in action in Iraq by Hezbollah on June 6, 2011 while serving as a Field Artillery Tactical Data Specialist at FOB Loyalty.  Six other men were killed during that attack. He was 24.

Christopher was born and raised in Orange County, California and is survived by his parents, and two sisters.  

Prior to joining the Army he was employed by a company that  installed protective coatings on cement floorings primarily for industrial buildings.  

During high school he played football and was also on the wrestling team. He had a keen interest in quantum physics and immersed himself in the works of Steven Hawkings.
