Brown, U.S. Army, age 26, of Columbus, Ohio; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died April 3, 2012, in Khas Kunar district, Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device.
